I used each antivirus related by you and i can say that, for instance, Kaspersky don't have a lot of things BitDefender have, such as registry cleaner that cleans your registry by detecting and removing any hidden software or broken registry keys, the rate of detection is higher than other security programs(here i'm including all that mentioned by you). What i like the most at BitDefender is that it has the game mode (temporarily modifies protection settings to minimize their impact on system performance, you don't want to be interrupted by some alerts or some other things isn't it?) and the laptop mode that allows your laptop to save considerable power if you're running a low battery...this one is very important for me because i'm always in a hurry and i spend a lot of time out of office....it's more than an antivirus for me (look at the parental control option)... You can convince yourself by trying their online quick scan from here http://quickscan.bitdefender.com/ or visit their site http://www.bitdefender.com/ to lunch a free trial version. They lunched yesterday the BitDefender 2010 version that improves all their labour till now, for instance the scans are completed in half time needed by previous version.
